TRUTH
What is actually true now?
What has changed in your life, business, finances, time and responsibilities?
A LIVE WORKING SESSION FOR EXPERIENCED WOMEN BUSINESS OWNERS
YOU’VE BUILT THE BUSINESS.
Your responsibilities may have changed.
Your financial priorities may have changed.
The people who need you may have changed.
And you may no longer be willing to give the business the same amount of time, energy and personal capacity you once did.
A woman should not have to carry everything to keep everything going.
Your business still needs to produce. But that doesn’t mean you should keep carrying it the same way.
In The Next Season Workshop, we’ll spend two focused hours looking at what has changed, what this next season actually requires from your business, and the decision that may need to be made before you add anything else.
A woman should not have to carry everything to keep everything going.
You may be very good at carrying responsibility.
That doesn't mean everything should continue depending on you.
Your business should increasingly support the life you're building instead of becoming another thing you have to personally hold together.
Your next season is coming whether you've designed for it or not.
“I need more revenue.”
“I need more clients.”
“I need more time.”
“I need to get organized.”
“I need to hire someone.”
“I need to work less.”
“I need to save more for retirement.”
“I need to figure out what I'm doing next.”
“I can't keep doing everything.”
Those may be the presenting problems.
But underneath them may be something more important:
Too many consequential things are competing for the same money, time, energy and attention—and you have become the person expected to carry all of them.
Before you spend more money, time or energy solving the first problem you see, determine whether it is actually the problem that needs solving.
You don't need another list of twenty things you should be doing.
You need to determine what is true now. What has changed. What matters next.
And what decision needs to be made before you keep adding more.
TRUTH → DIRECTION → DECISION → STRUCTURE → REVENUE
TRUTH
What has changed in your life, business, finances, time and responsibilities?
DIRECTION
What do you want the business to make possible now?
DECISION
Before making five separate decisions, find the one that could change the others.
STRUCTURE
What needs to stop, simplify, change, delegate or become less dependent on you?
REVENUE
Not an arbitrary revenue goal. The level of reliable revenue necessary to support the life, choices and future of the woman who owns it.
You'll leave with decisions on paper.
01
What has changed in your life, responsibilities, finances and business.
02
Where your money, time, energy and attention are currently going.
03
What the business needs to make possible now.
04
What no longer deserves a place simply because you've always done it.
05
The decision that may change what several other decisions need to look like.
06
The first meaningful move you'll make after the workshop.
You should leave with actual written work—not simply notes from another presentation.
A business designed ten years ago may have been exactly right for the woman you were then.
That doesn't automatically make it right for the woman you are becoming.
What worked when you had different responsibilities, different energy, different financial priorities, different support, or a different definition of success may need to change.
The objective isn't to blow everything up.
The objective is to decide deliberately what moves forward with you.
When the margin in your life gets smaller, the quality of your business decisions has to get better.
6:00–6:15 PM
Look honestly at life, finances, responsibilities, available time, energy and the business itself.
You cannot build your next season using assumptions from your last one.
6:15–6:40 PM
Identify what currently depends on you inside and outside the business.
A woman should not have to carry everything to keep everything going.
6:40–7:05 PM
Examine income, time, flexibility, debt, security, retirement, owner dependence, lifestyle and future choices.
What does your next season require from your business?
7:05–7:30 PM
The problem you can see may not be the problem you need to solve.
What is the decision everything else depends on?
7:30–7:45 PM
Determine what needs to stop, change, simplify, be delegated, be automated or produce more money.
7:45–7:55 PM
Complete the decision page: what is true now, what your next season requires, what decision you need to make, what you are no longer carrying forward and what happens next.
7:55–8:00 PM
Deb will explain how someone may continue working privately with her when the decision involves significant money, property, business structure, responsibility or consequences.

Deb Burger has spent more than 35 years building and operating businesses and working across real estate, development, financing, negotiations, deal structure and consequential business decisions.
Her work has required more than theory.
It has required making decisions involving real money, real property, real businesses, real people and real consequences.
Deb's strength isn't simply giving people more information.
It is helping experienced business owners look underneath the presenting problem and identify the decision everything else may depend on.
